Aesthetic device manufacturer 3D-lipo Ltd has introduced new muscle stimulating technology, the 3D-Powersculpt, to its portfolio.
3D-Lipo state that the device uses high intensity focussed electro-magnetic (HIFEM) technology, which keeps the muscles tense and contracted repeatedly throughout the treatment. This forces the muscle tissue to adapt, and results in muscle building and fat burning, the company states.
The company explains that the device can be used on the arms, the upper and lower abdomen, buttocks, legs and inner thighs. One 30-minute treatment is equivalent to 20,000 crunches or squats.
Roy Cowley, founder and managing director of 3D-lipo Ltd, commented, “Our existing and specialist treatments focus on fat loss, skin tightening and cellulite reduction. This new machine now allows us to also stimulate the muscles within the target area. 3D-Powersculpt can be used as a stand-alone treatment or alongside 3D-lipo body treatments using our new protocols.”
