EduQual-approved training centre The College of Trichological Science and Practice (CTSP) has launched a new Level 4 Certificate in Hair and Scalp Science for Trichology.
CTSP developed the course to address to lack of education available for scalp aesthetic professionals, despite it being a growing sector.
The course covers: introduction to trichology practice, anatomy and physiology for trichology, nutritional health in trichology, introduction to disorders and diseases of the hair and scalp; and cosmetic science and chemistry.
Delegates also gain access to masterclasses in trichological topics hosted by top hair science experts.
Completion of the Certificate allows progression onto the Level 5 (first intake September 2021) and 6 (first intake September 2022) Clinical Trichology Certificates – creating a higher education pathway on par with other healthcare providers.
