Medical aesthetic company Novus Medical has launched the JetPeel device in the UK.

The device treats a range of skin treatments including fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, pigmentation, dry skin, dark circles and hair restoration using a pressurised jet, explains Novus Medical.

The treatment exfoliates the skin by removing the dead layer of the skin cells and hydrates through a moisturising jet stream which cools and comforts the skin. The jet power reaches a velocity of 200 m/sec and aims to penetrate, rejuvenate and oxygenate the skin by infusing oxygen into the deep dermis to recharge and revitalise cells, notes the company.

Jim Westwood, director of Novus Medical, said, “The JetPeel, unlike other facial devices, infuses deep down into the dermis. It is a non-contact treatment that offers a broader range of treatments including needle-free PPP and hyperhidrosis relief. The treatment can be combined post-laser and with other cosmetic treatments to soothe and enhance results. We are excited to offer this device in the UK market.”
