The medical aesthetics company behind the micro-needling device, SkinPen Precision, has announced a new director of sales for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Simon Ofei joined Crown Aesthetics on January 3 and will focus on commercial opportunities and the further development of the SkinPen Precision business. He will also be driving new product launches in 2023. 

Ofei, who has over 25 years’ experience spanning the pharmaceutical and medical aesthetic industry, joins the company after five years as the country head UKI at Sinclair. 

“I am super excited to be joining Crown Aesthetics as it is already gaining great traction in the UKI market, with a strong reputation for SkinPen® Precision along with superb customer service by the sales, marketing and training team,” revealed Ofei in a press announcement. “My aim is to accelerate the sales growth in the UKI and also to help develop our people. I am thrilled to be taking up this new role in 2023.” 

In a statement, Andy Moulton, vice president of sales, International for Crown Aesthetics, explained: “By strengthening our UKI sales team, we will help the practices grow by driving patient demand. With Simon leading the way, customers can be assured that they will receive the same superior level of Excellence in training, education, marketing and customer service they deserve.” 

SkinPen Precision launched in 2013 and is marketed as the first microneedling device cleared by the FDA. It is intended to be used to treat facial acne scars in adults aged 22 years or older, as well as to improve the cosmetic appearance of fine lines and stretch marks.
