Aesthetic device company InMode has announced the launch of a new hands-free platform for body treatments.
According to the company, the device aims to remodel skin, reduce fat and sculpt muscles using a combination of bipolar radiofrequency energy (RF), high voltage pulse (HVP) and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), with no downtime.
A clinical study looking into the effectiveness of combined RF and EMS found that of 15 patients aged 18-70, on average, patients saw changes in abdominal circumference (−0.43 cm, P = 0.48), caliper pinch thickness (−6.07 mm, P = 0.0036) and ultrasound fat thickness (−5.40 mm, P < 0.001) at three months post-treatment, with minimal discomfort and high patient satisfaction.
Managing director at InMode UK, Neil Wolfenden, said, “True innovation within the medical aesthetics industry is vital to ensure fantastic results for patients driven by clinical evidence. EvolveX platform system will sit within a truly outstanding portfolio of technology. This new technology follows on from the monumental success we’ve experienced with Morpheus8 and will be a brilliant journey for transforming total body contouring to unprecedented levels. We are truly excited to launch the EvolveX platform system and in doing so, offer fantastic capabilities for both our physicians and their patients.”
