Aesthetic product company ReLife from Menarini Group has debuted a new injection technique with aesthetic practitioner Dr Vincent Wong.

The R-Technique is designed to address the lateral face using fillers of varying viscosities to treat the temporal region, zygoma and lateral temporal cheek fat. The company says it can be adapted for all patients, with the ultimate goal to be able to tailor the approach for a personalised treatment regardless of gender.

Dr Wong said, “For me, aesthetics should be matching your exterior appearance to how you feel inside, regardless of gender, sexuality, race or age.”

According to Relife, the lateral injection technique – which is marked with an R shape on the side of the face – creates an eye-opening effect through temporal fossa injection, revolumisation of the lateral face and jawline enhancement.

Dr Wong said, “ReLife’s R-Technique is especially designed to give patients a refreshed and lifted look by targeting the lateral part of the face which is often overlooked.”
