Pharmaceutical company Allergan Aesthetics has launched a new consultation app aimed at improving patient outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.

According to the company, the Patient Education and Consultation app forms part of the company’s wider commitment to advancing the aesthetic industry.

The app is designed to support healthcare professionals during patient consultations by providing a visual aid for the patient. The practitioner can create a bespoke treatment plan which can be reviewed by the patient via email in the comfort of their home post-consultation and prior to treatment, explains Allergan Aesthetics.

Djamshid Ghavami, UK&I general manager at Allergan Aesthetics, commented, “At Allergan Aesthetics, our aim is to support our customers to pursue the highest levels of clinical excellence and patient experience to deliver the best outcome. This new app is testament to that aim, and we hope it will support healthcare professionals during their consultations, allowing them to visually show the facial anatomy to their patients.”

The app is free and available for any healthcare professionals. It can only be used on iPad or Tablet and downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. For details on how to download the app and to access the login passcode, visit AMI Digital World.
