The multi-application system comes with Sublime, Sublative RF and Matrix Pro applicators.

Candela has announced the launch of the new Profound Matrix system in Canada following its clearance from Health Canada.

The multi-application system has been designed for correcting, maintaining and restoring skin at various stages of the ageing journey.

The Profound system is equipped with Sublime, SublativeRF and Matrix Proapplicators.

Sublime and Sublative RF provide bipolar radiofrequency (RF) treatments to improve fine lines and wrinkles appearance.

The new Matrix Pro applicator is intended for the regeneration and formation of new collagen to enhance overall skin appearance and texture.

It is designed to use a range of the thinnest microneedles available in the market for delivering short-pulse RF energy to the skin.

The applicator also utilises Depth Intelligence technology with real-time impedance monitoring to offer up to three user-controlled depth and energy settings in one insertion.

Furthermore, the Profound system is driven by Dimensional RF for delivering multi-dimensional treatment outcomes.

Candela CEO Geoffrey Crouse said: “With its advanced outcome-focused technical innovations that deliver consistent results, we expect the Profound Matrix system to be the number one choice for providers looking to add radiofrequency-based skin treatments to their offerings.

“With the launch of the Profound Matrix system, Candela is now the first and only company in the aesthetics space to deliver a full range of microneedling products that span the spectrum from mechanical microneedling pens (Exceed) to short-pulse RF microneedling devices (Matrix Pro applicator) to long-pulse RF microneedling devices (Profound).”
