Lynton launches new technology in partnership with Deka

Device manufacturer Lynton has partnered with Deka to release some new technology to accompany its Motus AY laser device.

The four new handpieces treat a range of skin concerns. The Moveo PL handpiece is designed for pain-free pigmentation treatments, the Moveo VL treats vascular concerns including rosacea, the Moveo SR is for skin rejuvenation and the Moveo HR removes hair painlessly.  The Motus AY can now also treat skin types from I-VI.

The new handpieces move swiftly, in close contact with the skin, as opposed to using a single spot stamping technique, eliminating wasted and scattered energy, and optimising the laser to work at 100% efficiency. Thus, the Moveo PL can comfortably reduce large areas of pigmented lesions on the face, hands, arms, legs, chest, and back. This close-contact movement also helps the device to act directly on vascular lesions, increasing efficacy on all skin types.

The Moveo SR uses a controlled multi-pass action, which causes a progressive increase in heat at the dermal level, stimulating collagen and causing skin rejuvenation. This technique is carried over to the hair removal technology, allowing virtually painless multiple passes to heat and destroy unwanted hair.

All these treatments can be combined to deliver the ‘Moveo Glo’ treatment, to correct multiple concerns at once. Results have already been achieved on patients of varying concerns across the face and body, such as hyperpigmentation caused by ageing and sun damage.
