New artificial intelligence (AI) solution provider Skintonicsai has launched in the UK, providing practitioners with skin analysis tools.

According to the company, Skintonicsai uses facial scanning technology across 14 different skin analysis tools to identify patients’ top concerns. This could be a reliable alternative to patient skin questionnaires or remote forms, the company says.

Skintonicsai business development team member Gary Plant said, “A majority of aesthetic business owners are currently not charging for a traditional 30-minute skin consultation. In fact, the additional 30 minutes spent on each consultation could result in an average loss of £78 per appointment, based on the industry’s average hourly charge of £188.44. Using our technology, consultation times can be reduced by 70% and do not require any training to perform a three-second, dermatology-approved skin analysis and report using Skintonicsai.”
