Skincare brand ESK Skincare has debuted the new Hydraboost HA Serum, aiming to target dry and ageing skin.

According to ESK, the product is formulated with 1.6% hyaluronic acid (HA) and 1.5% panthenol (Provitamin B5), appropriate for dryness, ageing and inflamed skin conditions such as eczema and rosacea.

The company explains that evidence is emerging to show that panthenol can be used to improve skin barrier function, reduce irritation and aid in skin injury repair.

Dr Ginni Mansberg, founder of ESK, said, “The evidence is finally catching up with the hype for hyaluronic acid. Most importantly, studies confirm the role of low molecular weight HA particularly in combination with medium and high molecular weight HA. By delivering these with the advantages of panthenol provitamin B5, we’ve created a serum that addresses a wide range of skin concerns, delivering visible and lasting results.”
