Skincare company SkinCeuticals has released two new products to its portfolio.

The first product, A.G.E Interrupter Advanced, is a corrective daily moisturiser aimed at targeting visible ageing impacted by collagen decline, explains the company. Ingredients include glycyrrhetinic acid for soothing properties, 1% niacinamide to support the skin’s moisture barrier and restore firmness and 20% proxylane to target the appearance of firmness and elasticity, notes SkinCeuticals.

The second product, A.G.E Advanced Eye, is designed to improve the appearance of visible effects of collagen degradation. The product reduces the appearance of dark circles and crow’s feet around the eyes, while restoring and maintaining moisture, SkinCeuticals says.

Ingredients include 7.15% concentrated proxylane to target the appearance of firmness and elasticity, 50% peptides to help skin look firmer and 2.5% more caffeine to help reduce puffiness and revive tired eyes, adds the company.

Dr Emma Craythorne, consultant dermatologist, said, “This cream is made specifically for the eye, and some people prefer a lighter formula such as this one. This also helps to strengthen the skin barrier. The new generation formula in the A.G.E Interrupter Advanced is jam packed with a combination of emollients, humectants and occlusives that are great for supporting the skin barrier and protecting the skin from additional water loss.”
