Aesthetic device company BTL Aesthetics has debuted its new device EXION at a press launch event in London. At the breakfast event, members of the press were invited to network, witness live device demonstrations and hear more about EXION.

The company explains that the device is a 4-in-1 platform, designed to treat up to 23 areas of the body. The device includes Face, Body, Fractional RF and Emfemme 360 handpieces to address multiple aesthetic concerns. During the event, Dr Yael Halaas explained that EXION Face uses a patented combination of radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound to promote collagen and elastin synthesis, as well as natural production of hyaluronic acid. A study by BTL Aesthetics has shown that the handpiece can lead to a 224% increase in hyaluronic acid in the skin.

Dr Tamsin Lewis and Davinia Taylor also joined the panel at the event to discuss the merits of a biohacking approach to aesthetics and wellness.

Tim Taylor, managing director of BTL UK, said, “With EXION, our partners can create a bespoke treatment plan across face, body and intimate health that is tailored precisely to each patient’s unique needs.”
