With the largest adjustable four-pod head in the Dermalux range, the company says the Tri-Wave MD MK II is able to deliver treatments over broad skin areas and is capable of delivering up to 240 j/cm2 in a single treatment session. It also comes equipped with a patent-pending LED cooling system with centrifugal fans that dissipate heat over the skin surface.

To remain compliant with safety standards, the Tri-Wave MD MK II is a Class IIa medical device. Dermalux claims the device has been designed with multiple safety cut-outs including thermal and current overload protection, as well as an emergency stop feature.

Lee Anne Evans, chief marketing officer at Dermalux, said, “We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Dermalux Tri-Wave MD MK II, the pinnacle of LED Phototherapy systems. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver excellence in all that we do, supported by our core values of education, training and outstanding customer support.”
